A new algorithm for watermarking sequence generation is proposed, allowing collision-free robust watermarking using correlation-based watermark detector. The proposed algorithm provides considerably large number of codewords (password-based watermarking sequences) which makes it more robust to a brute-force watermark extraction attacks compared to known algorithms for watermarking sequence generation. Also, proposed algorithm fulfills the set of application-specific requirements motivated by needs of watermarking scheme computational effectiveness, robustness etc.
