Algorithm of calculation of the hodograph containing a layer with a linear dependence of velocity on depth

An algorithm of calculation of hodograph of refracted and head waves in an assumed environment model is considered. A detailed argumentation of the applied analytical solutions, derived from the universal arrangement of the direct amplitude time problem in ray approximation, is presented. The algorithm is offered to be used in hypocenter location problems.
