In the article, the authors analyze theoretical approaches to understanding theessence of social entrepreneurship in order to identify the basic elements that areused in the construction of the algorithm of social entrepreneurship realization.The characteristic of social entrepreneurship and its differences from commercialenterprise are given. Criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of social business aredeveloped. The importance of the state in ensuring the effective implementation ofthis process is determined. The algorithm of creation of the social enterprise havingcertain differences from the classical form of commercial enterprise is offered. Theuse of this scheme in practice will allow to form an effective business structurefocused on achieving a socially oriented mission.
