Algorithms and law

The article deals with the socio-cultural phenomenon-the algorithm-and its impact on the law. The algorithm has a long history, but the rapid growth of algorithm researches occurred during the dawn of computer science and information technology. In this regard, the article uses an approach that divides the algorithms into traditional and modern ones. In legal science, both options are analyzed. Recently, in connection with the algorithmization of public relations, the problem of modern algorithms and law is widely studied in the works of domestic and foreign authors. The article analyzes various aspects of the study of algorithms and law, reflected in the works of Russian and foreign authors. The article also considers the issues of interaction between algorithms and law, defines the definition of algorithmization of law, and identifies the problem of systemic influence of algorithmization processes on law.
