Alcohol factor and suicidal behavior in East Transbaikalia

In the article the analysis of prevalence of suicides in the Chita region, since 1975 is submitted. During research the ultrahigh level of frequency of the completed suicides among agricultural population is established. The role in fulfillment of suicides some factors, first of all alcoholic is shown. The resulted data testify to a developed crisis situation with suicides in rural areas of the Chita region that is caused not only socio-economic factors, but also intensive abusing alcohol. Therefore the measures directed on struggle with abusing alcohol and alcoholic dependence, should be an indispensable condition of preventive maintenance of suicides.
