The amplitude-and-frequency characteristics of overall EMG of lower limb muscles before and after the hip endoprosthetics

The involvement of the muscles of the lower limb main segments on the operated and contralateral side in the adaptive reorganization of muscular activity, caused by the change in general afferentation and anatomic-biomechanical conditions of functioning, was demonstrated in 167 patients at the age of 17-65 years (57 men and 110 women) with coxarthrosis, who were examined by electromyography technique before and in different periods after the hip endoprosthetics.
