Analytical researches of the banking sector in Central Asia

Based on data analysis of activity of the largest Central Asia banks and statistical agencies the article describes the state of the banking sector in the region in 2015-2016. Special attention should be given to the banks performance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (the National Bank and the second-tier banks) as the most economically developed state in the region. The author concludes that banking sector of Central Asia has the potential to grow and expand beyond the region. In this regard it is important to synchronize bank activity in the region and the key enterprises in Asia: China, Japan, South Korea and India.
