Analytical sense of the concept "business activity"

The article investigates the concept of the essence of economic categories «business activity of enterprise» and substantiation of its performance assessment. Particular attention is paid to turnover ratio assets and liabilities of the company in terms of their structural elements, as well as the figures for turnover. It is proved that the assessment of business activity can be carried out by determining the optimum ratio between the rate of profit growth, income and assets.
