Industrial safety anticorrosion coatings used in vertical cylindrical tanks

The article analyzes the problems of corrosion damage to large structures of oil and gas sector, leading to environmental catastrophes. The authors investigate the possibility of reducing the permeability of the coating at the transition to the composite coating, in particular, to a coating having a multilayer or gradient structure. An approach based on the fact that the coating must exist and be isolated areas with different functionality.
