Electricity market management consists of technological processes (production, transmission, distribution and consumption of electricity), accounting and financial stages, as well as environmental analysis. All these aspects reflect the economic and environmental policy of the country in the field of energy use. Rational use of energy resources is an urgent task of the modern economy. The development of automated systems for accounting, control and distribution of electricity is an integral part of reliable billing for consumed energy resources, as well as a means of analyzing the level of environmental load associated with the carbon footprint, and allows you to develop energy-efficient methods of providing resources to both consumers of the industrial sector and the residential sector related to forecasting the level of energy consumption. This article provides an overview of automated systems for commercial accounting of electricity consumption used in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The advantages and disadvantages, the principle of operation of the automated accounting and control system are considered.
