Analysis of budgetary policy in the subjects of the Volga federal district for 2016-2018

The paper discusses issues related to the study of problems of budgetary policy in various territories of the Russian Federation. Within the framework of the present socio-economic situation of the country, this study is gaining relevance, since the study and analysis of indicators of the budgetary policy of the territory allows us to judge the effectiveness of budget management. The paper presents a typology of budgetary policy and sorts out the indicators characterizing it. Moreover, an analysis of the type of budget policy pursued by a number of subjects of the Volga Federal District for 2016-2018 is based on calculations of expenses in various directions from the gross regional product of the territories. It also provides the general dynamics of changes in these indicators. At the end of the article, the conclusions obtained during the study are presented. The current problems of these subjects are indicated, and the ways of their solution are outlined.
