The article is devoted to the development of the Russian electric power industry in recent years, including under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic. the importance of the electric power industry as a branch of the Russian economy is considered. the indicators of production and financial activities of PJSC «Rosseti» in recent years are calculated and presented. The assessment of the company's functioning in the context of the implementation of the Digital Transformation 2030 program and the COVID-19 pandemic is given.
