Analysis of exotic wood species grown in the Belgorod University botanical garden

Taxonomic analysis and characteristic of the dendrological collections from different geographic exposures in the botanical garden of the Belgorod national state research university are given in the paper. The most promising eco-geographical regions as sources of material for further involvement of plant species introduction are selected. The majority of the species studied are promising for their use in the Belgorod region. They are recommended for creation of different types of plantings.
