The article is dedicated to the review, analysis and identification of basic concepts used in event marketing campaigns in order to advertise FMSG goods. Such events are organized to attract consumers’ attention to opening of new stores, new product input to the market, updating of successful brands and are characterized by rather limited marketing instruments. They are considered to be the most efficient method of establishing a contact between consumer of goods and brand itself.
