Hyperlinks’ analysis of Petrozavodsk State University web space

A study of hyperlinks obtained from the informational web space of Petrozavodsk State University was carried out. Low connectivity of the sites, making up the university web space, was shown. The number of identified counter references from academic sites inrussia, UK, USA, and Finland was insignificant. The obtained research results forwarded a number of recommendations instrumental in the improvement of the university sites’ presence on the Web. The described methods and approaches together with obtained results may be useful for developers of the web resources of otherrussian universities and scientific institutions.
