Analysis and prospects for the development of the tourism industry in the Russian Federation

Today, the tourism industry and its development in Russia are the most relevant. The article considers the tourism sector as a complex socio-economic system, highlights the main types and directions of this industry. Tourism performs important functions that ensure the quality of life of the population. An important role in the development of the industry is played by the prevailing economic conditions, thanks to which this sphere can actively develop, currently it is domestic tourism. To develop a strategy for the development of the tourism business, it is necessary to study the factors affecting the attractiveness of recreation. In many ways, the determining conditions for the attractiveness of the tourism sector are the level of infrastructure development, the quality of service and the price level. At the same time, an important role is assigned to the state support of the tourism business in the conditions of the economic crisis.
