The importance of the problem of ensuring the impermeability of oil and gas pipelines is emphasized. Highly efficient methods and technologies for detecting places where air is drawn into equipment operating under pressure have been developed and successfully tested in industrial operation. They include continuous monitoring of gas and oil transportation systems and their associated auxiliary equipment.
