Analysis of investment activity in the healthcare sector of Sevastopol

Investments in the healthcare system are aimed at improving the level and quality of services provided to the population in the field of medicine, which, accordingly, has a positive effect on the general background of the state of health and well-being of the population. The development of the healthcare system of Sevastopol is a priority investment area according to the state program of Sevastopol «Development of investment activities in the city of Sevastopol», which, together with the lack of independent research on this subject in relation of Sevastopol, determines the relevance of the researching. The study was conducted using general scientific data processing methods, including the dialectical method, statistical method, comparison and grouping method, data plotting method, as well as classical methods of analysis and synthesis. The study revealed positive aspects of the investment activity of the healthcare sector in Sevastopol, and relatively low levels of investment in the healthcare sector of the city compared to the volume of investment per capita in Russia. The authors concluded that it is necessary to take additional measures to attract investment in the healthcare sector of Sevastopol, which will positively affect the development of the healthcare sector in Sevastopol in general.
