Analysis of investment activity of the Volga federal district

The purpose of the study was to identify current trends in investment activity regions of the Volga Federal District, which revealed the regions leaders and outsiders regions. The analysis of indicators such as the volume of investment in fixed assets studied regions, the structure of investment in fixed assets for certain types of economic activity, the proportion of investment in fixed assets to gross regional product, the volume of foreign investment. The article analyzes the practice of introducing modern instruments to stimulate investment activity in the studied regions. The material can be used in the development of regional investment strategies.
