Analysis of changes in the regulation of the precious metals market in Russia

The state integrated information system in the field of control over the turnover of precious metals, precious stones and products made from them at all stages of this turnover is dynamically changing and the regulatory legal regulation of the gold mining industry, in particular the functioning of the state integrated information system in the field of control over the turnover of precious metals, precious stones and products made from them at all stages of this turnover is being introduced a number of changes that may have an impact on the stable operation of gold mining companies in the current conditions of functioning of the macro- and microeconomics in Russia. The analysis of the state of affairs in the field of extraction and complex processing of mineral raw materials and accounting of mineral raw materials containing precious metals in the state integrated information system in the field of control over the turnover of precious metals, precious stones and products made from them at all stages of this turnover is carried out. The article presents an analysis of the regulatory legal regulation of the gold mining industry, presents proposals for amendments to regulatory legal acts, in particular, to Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 270 dated 02.26.2021, namely, amendments to paragraph 12 of Resolution No. 270 dated 02.26.2021, put into effect by Resolution No. 1605 dated 11/22/2024, to reduce the liquidity risks of gold mining companies. in the current conditions of functioning of the Russian economy.
