The aim of the study is to generalize and supplement existing classifications of environmental risks for the development of models of Arctic tourism. At the first stage of the study, an analysis of existing classifications of environmental risks was carried out, their systematization and the allocation of the most significant in the spatial organization of Arctic tourism. Then an updated classification of environmental risks was proposed for the formation of models of spatial organization of Arctic tourism. The next stage was the development of scientific and methodological foundations for creating models of spatial organization of Arctic tourism, taking into account the proposed classification. An updated classification of environmental risks has been proposed, taking into account which the main models of spatial organization of Arctic tourism have been developed. The recommendations of applying the updated classification and models of spatial organization of Arctic tourism for the purposes of planning and managing the development of Arctic tourism aimed at the rational use of the unique natural and cultural-historical resources of the North are substantiated. The theoretical and practical significance lies in the application of the proposed classification of environmental risks for the organization and development of Arctic tourism.
