Analysis of the economic condition of the regional banking sector of the Rostov region

The article presents an analysis of activities of the regional banks in the Rostov region. The study showed that the rate of growth of assets and capital of banks in the region lagged behind the average in Russia; compared to the all banking system of Russia, more substantial source of resources for banks in the region are the funds of the households. Regional banking market is very highly concentrated. The draft law on the establishment of banks with the "base" and "global" license is required from the owners of most banks in the region difficult resolutions about the future of its credit institutions.
