Analysis of etiological agents of traumatic mandibular osteomyelitis

This article deals with etiological agents of traumatic mandibular osteomyelitis (TMO). It is shown that delayed specialised medical aid, fracture immobilization defects, incorrect approach to the tooth in a fracture line play an important role. Chronic endogenic intoxication, postprimary immunodefiency are of great significance in etiopathogenesis of TMO. Recommendations about prevention and treatment of TMO are proposed in this study.
