Analysis of Chinese-Russian relations in the sphere of trade in chemical products

China and Russia play an important role in the global production of chemical products. The chemical industry is also important for the economy of each of these countries. The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state of the chemical industry in Russia and China, the assessment of trade and economic relations between countries in terms of the sale of chemical products, both in terms of volumes and product structure. The research is based on statistical research methods. It is based on data on the chemical production of Russia and China, as well as on export-import relations between countries with chemical products. The analysis of the structure of the chemical industry of each state was carried out as of 2019.The assessment of export-import operations was carried out in dynamics for the period 2004 - 2019. The data of the official statistics of the two countries are taken as a basis. As a result of the study, a typical structure of chemical products in Russia and China was revealed. The growth of trade turnover between the countries for 15 years has been statistically substantiated. It has been proven that the main exported goods from Russia to China are fertilizers, and from China to Russia - plastics and plastic products, organic chemicals. The conclusion is made about the need to expand cooperation between the countries, the need to eliminate trade and customs barriers.
