This article deals with the essence of competition, the need for competitive analysis, the course of the meeting. In modern society, competition is the main regulatory force in a market economy. To conduct a successful marketing policy, in order to develop the newest line of commercial products also defining the strategy of positioning the company should consider all the weak and strong sides of competitors in the industry to take the lead. In this regard, the organization needs to analyze competitors. Conducting an analysis of competitors also allows the company to determine its own competitiveness and potential opportunities in the market, establish the optimal level of product prices, and increase its market share. Qualitatively conducted competitors analysis helps the company identify its main competitors and identify a number of activities to gain a competitive advantage.
