Analysis of criminological peculiarities of the personality of the violent criminal

The paper features of the criminological characteristics of violent offenders, defined their main characteristics and types. The definition of criminological characteristics of a criminal’s personality is given. The characteristic features of the personality of a violent criminal, which distinguish him from the general group of criminals, are highlighted. Based on criminological analysis, a portrait of the average violent criminal in Russia has been compiled.
