Analysis of models of the Russian economy in the post-Soviet period: review and selection of the optimal one within the framework of the country's economic security strategy

The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that the development of the economy carries a certain potential, scientific understanding and practical application of which is necessary to assess the policy-economic and social transformations in the system of economic security of the state. Political, economic and social conditions characterize the economic security of the State as a priority area of state activity. Currently, many approaches to ensuring the economic security of the country have been formed in the scientific literature. An important direction in ensuring economic security is the formation of such an open economic model of development, which combines in a balanced form a variety of relationships, including such as population, resources, production, products, exports and imports. This article presents and justifies the choice of a promising model for the development of the economy of our country.
