Analysis of the market volume of spring soft wheat seeds in Russia by federal districts in 2023

The article presents data on the analysis of the volume of the commercial segment of the spring soft wheat market in Russia by federal districts in 2023, the seeds for which were received through a voluntary certification system. The sown areas of spring soft wheat were analyzed in the federal districts of Russia in 2023, including the sown areas under commercial segment seeds. An analysis of the distribution of the seed fund in the commercial segment of the Russian spring soft wheat market by federal districts in 2023 was carried out, the structure was analyzed and the federal districts - the leaders of the commercial segment - were identified. A general description of the commercial segment of the spring soft wheat market in Russia in 2023 is given, the share of Russian and foreign seeds in the market is shown, and conclusions are drawn about the compliance of the main characteristics of the market with food safety requirements.
