Analysis of the organization of youth leisure by the municipal cultural institution

In the article the results of the analysis of the organization of youth leisure by the institution of culture of the municipality in Taganrog are given. It has been established that over the past three years, the number of visitors to events in the field of culture and leisure held in auditoriums and open areas has increased 1,2 times, and the number of visitors to events on a paid basis has decreased 1,41 times. At the same time, the total number of amateur folk art formations for youth increased by 20%, while the number of participants in these formations under the age of 14 increased by 13,1%, and the number of participants in the age group from 15 to 24 years decreased by 55,6%. The marked tendencies are caused by decrease in effective demand for paid services in the sphere of culture and leisure and the features of demographic structure of city 's population.
