Utomatic radio compass (ARC) is a tracking system for automatic control of a directional antenna, which ensures the installation of its structural axes in the direction of the direction-finding radio station with an accuracy of 2-3 °. The sensing element of tracking systems is a directional antenna. The role of the antenna in the goniometric systems is performed by two mutually perpendicular, fixed frames, which are rigidly fixed on the fuselage and the symmetry axis of one of them is oriented along the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. The article analyzes the main types of errors in the automatic radio compass, and also considers methods for dealing with the main errors.
