Analysis of prospects and risk factors for increasing the fleet of electric vehicles in Russia

The article presents a detailed assessment of the comparative attractiveness of the transition to electric vehicles for different categories of consumers in the Russian Federation, including public authorities, businesses and private owners. For each of these groups, both strengths and weaknesses of the transition to electric vehicles are highlighted, and key risk and opportunity factors are analysed (SWOT analysis). An important element of the study is the PESTEL analysis, which identifies the main technological, political and economic factors affecting the development of electric transport in the country. In addition, environmental and social aspects are considered, which are becoming increasingly relevant in the context of global climate change and the need to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The article concludes by systematising information on the risks associated with the transition to electric vehicles, such as insufficient charging infrastructure and high initial investments. It also considers possible prospects and ways of developing electric transport in the Russian Federation, which makes this article relevant and useful for all stakeholders, including public authorities, entrepreneurs and end consumers seeking environmentally friendly solutions.
