Analysis of solvency and financial stability in the agricultural sector of the economy of the Krasnodar region

The study is devoted to the analysis of solvency and financial stability in the agricultural sector of the region’s economy (on the example of the Krasnodar Krai). As part of the assessment of the financial condition of agricultural enterprises of the region, the dynamics of various indicators: the proportion of agricultural unprofitable enterprises in the Krasnodar Krai in their total number, their financial results, the main coefficients of solvency and financial stability were studied and analyzed. The study allowed us to conclude that there is a general tendency for agricultural enterprises in the region to fall in the level of solvency and financial stability. To substantiate the directions of improving the financial situation of the analyzed subjects, three enterprises were selected: large, medium and small. The assessment showed that large enterprises operating in the agricultural sector of the economy of the Krasnodar Krai are the most solvent and financially stable, while medium and small ones lack financial resources. The obtained conclusion was confirmed on the basis of diagnostics of the probability of bankruptcy with the help of a model developed by a domestic scientist. As a result, priority directions for increasing the level of solvency and financial stability in the agricultural sector of the economy of the Krasnodar Krai have been identified.
