The analysis of approaches to developing the conceptions of industrial policies

On the basis of a summary of Russian and foreign practice of industrial policies, the authors suggest a new outlook on developing a national conception of forming industrial policies towards modernising manufacturing. The authors define an industrial policy as a strategy to achieve the formation and implementation of goals of developing production with the help of economic instruments.
