Analysis of approaches in psychotherapeutic counseling of young men at risk for the development of schizophrenia (review of foreign literature)

At the present stage of the improvement of methods of the psychotherapy, the problems of studying the patterns of development, recognizing the initial stages and psychotherapeutic-oriented diagnosing mental diseases, conducting early therapeutic interventions in relation to diseases such as schizophrenia, and its manifestation in patients from the psychosis risk group are of specific relevance. This remains one of the most difficult, promising and demanded areas in modern medicine. The article provides a rationale for the use of psychotherapeutic approaches, forms and methods of psychotherapy, aimed not only at reducing the symptoms of psychotic risk and reducing the risk of manifestation of psychosis, but also at improving the level of social functioning.
