Analysis of the flowering indicators of clematis varieties in the Mari El Republic

The flowering indicators of 10 clematis varieties in the conditions of the Botanical Garden-Institute of VSUT (Yoshkar-Ola) are presented. The intensity of flowering depended on weather conditions: in the abnormally dry and hot summer of 2021, flowering began earlier and took place more quickly compared to 2020, when flowering was more extended. The maximum duration of flowering is 10 weeks. The variety ‘Nadezhda’ was distinguished by the largest flowers and the longest flowering duration of one flower, the variety ‘Sputnik’ had the smallest flowers and the shortest duration of flowering.
