The project management practices analysis in the field of culture

In modern socio-economic conditions of the society development the sphere ofculture plays a key role in the formation of a harmoniously developed personality.The existing approaches to the organization of cultural activities do not meet theincreased demands of the society. The search for innovative forms of organization ofcultural activities becomes an important task of both the state and economic entities.The article deals with the existing practice of project approach to the managementof the sphere of culture. Successful examples of the project activities in the sphere ofculture of European countries and in the Russian Federation are given. The featuresand prospects of the project activities in the modern socio-economic conditions ofthe socio-cultural sphere development of Russia are defined.
