Analysis of local governance problems in the context of global challenges

Based on the results of a sociological study, the article analyzes the problems of local self-government in the context of sanctions pressure and economic crisis. The authors conclude that in such conditions the role of local self-government increases significantly, allowing to keep a large number of local problems in the attention.
