Analysis of MATLAB Simulink and MVTU software in order to justify the choice for the study of dynamic systems

The development of modern computer technology has led to changes in the design of complex technical systems. Simulation is widely used by leading companies in the development of automated systems. Simulation allows you to check the design results, predict the behavior of the system and eliminate the risk of defects at the design stage. Modern software solutions in the field of computer applied engineering allow engineers to accurately reproduce specific physical processes. The article considers the MatLab Simulink and MVTU software package from the point of view of a universal environment for modeling technical systems. The relevance of using Simulink and Matlab as modern engineering tools is considered. The article also discusses the validity of the model approach in the development of control systems for specific objects. Two experimentally validated research programs were then used. The experiment showed good repeatability of the software and revealed the limitations of using the simulation method.
