Analysis of work and increasing the efficiency of compressor units at geological exploration

Compressor plants - generating pneumatic energy, are the most energy-intensive equipment. An analysis of the operation of mobile compressor plants shows that a significant part of the energy losses are due to the compressor drive ICE, since not all of the combustible fuel is converted into useful power. A greater amount of thermal energy is diverted from the engine to the cooling system and carried away with the exhaust gases. Utilization of utilized heat will reduce heat losses to the environment and increase the efficiency of the energy source.
