Analysis of the bogs and forests distribution on hydromorphous soils in the Kichmengsko-Gorodetsky district of the Vologda region

The swampiness was determined of district forestry's in the Kichmengsko-Gorodetsky district of the Vologda region and the distribution of damp-growing wood reserves of coniferous formations in waterlogged areas. Distribution of wood stocks of the prevailing breed is analyzed according to the relative planting's density. The prevailing types of swamping and features of the coniferous plantation's distribution on different types of peat deposits are revealed. The largest swamps in the study area have been established. The reserves of coniferous dry formations were studied by types of peat deposits.
