The analysis of EMG-pattern variety in patients with lower limb shortenings and anomalies under distraction osteosynthesis

The variety of EMG-patterns and their connection with the processes of motor unit reorganization in the muscles being lengthened and that with the condition of corresponding spinal motor centers has been analyzed. The analysis was based on the results of electromyographic examinations ((maximum voluntary stress testing) of 122 patients (60 males and 62 females) at the age of 4-17 (11±0,2) years with developmental anomalies of lower limbs and also with their shortenings and deformities of different genesis before treatment, during it and in different periods after the treatment by distraction osteosynthesis method.
