Analysis of the conflict development in the territory of the former Yugoslavia and its impact on the Kosovo issue

The article is devoted to a comprehensive conflict analysis, including historical, in Kosovo as one of the hotbeds of tension. The author reveals the process of the conflict origin, its reaching the point of escalation, as well as the transition to de-escalation. The article presents the main ways to resolve the conflict and the difficulties that arise when trying to put them into practice.
