Analysis of the implementation results of digitalization programs in the construction sector of the Republic of Tatarstan

The article is dedicated to a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of digital technologies implementation in the construction industry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The research covers the period 2023–2025 and is based on official data from the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Competence Center DOM.RF, and the results of the international forum REBUS 2025. The key areas of digital transformation are examined: Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies, implementation of the Project Management Information System (PMIS), and the State Information System for Construction Activities Support (GISOGD). It has been revealed that the Republic of Tatarstan ranked first in Russia in terms of construction industry digitalization (69%), achieving significant improvements in productivity, reduction of design timelines, and enhancement of construction documentation quality. An assessment of economic outcomes is provided, including gross value added increase and creation of high-tech jobs. The article identifies key barriers to the digitalization process, including workforce provision issues and the need for further regulatory harmonization.
