Genealogy studies in dairy herds are of great importance. This scientific article analyzes the results of selection, changes in the herd's genealogical structure, and the genetic codes of Holstein sires bred by Alta Genetics Russia at Slavyanskoye CJSC in the Oryol Region from 2022 to 2025. The following is recommended: 1) when fixing the stud bulls in the line Vis Back Ideal 1013415, the semen of AltaZTIME 3243355419 (Genetic Codes: TC TD TE TL TP TR TV TY), AltaFASTPRIZE 3247843746 (Genetic Codes: TC TD TE TL TP TR TV TY), AltaREGULATE 325219793 (Genetic Codes: TC TD TE TL TP TR TV TY), AltaPIZZAZZ 3251555560 (Genetic Codes: TC TD TE TL TP TR TV TY), AltaHAJI 3250026081 (Genetic Codes: TC TD TE TL TP TR TV TY) has been actively used recently, the father of the fathers of which is AltaZAZZLE 3200824445, descended from MARIUS 12609177, who is the great-grandfather (OOO) of the sires AltaOLAF 3150701313, CAFFEINEP 3151588884 and AltaOCON 3224956217. In order to prevent moderate and close inbreeding, it is necessary to select parent pairs especially carefully and in the near future pay attention to sires from other branches; 2) continue conducting molecular genetic examination of the bred breeding stock, in accordance with modern requirements for selection and breeding work.
