Analysis of the electric generator market in Russia

There are many niches for the use of electric generating equipment of various types and capacities, primarily diesel and gasoline generator sets when supplying electricity to rural consumers. First of all, this is the autonomous and backup power supply to rural consumers, including private households, and the use of renewable energy sources as part of complexes. The analysis of the electric generator market allows to get an idea of the volume of production and application of this equipment, trends in this area. Further analysis of the types of generating equipment and its design features, application experience allows us to identify relevant research areas for the development of technical solutions to improve the efficiency and safety of the use of generating equipment. An analysis of the market for gasoline and diesel generator sets in Russia shows an increase in their production, localization, and use in the private sector. Thus, in 2020-2023, the production of gasoline generating units (more than 80% of these units are used in the private sector) increased by more than 150% in capacity.
