Analysis of the Russian labor market in the context of sanctions restrictions and the geopolitical crisis

The article examines the impact of the sanctions policy against the Russian Federation on the labor market. The analysis of the main indicators of the labor market for January-June 2022 was carried out. The main risks of the labor market are identified: the increase in hidden unemployment and the problems of youth employment. Government measures to support the labor market are considered. The impact of the departure / suspension of the activities of foreign companies on the situation on the labor market of the Russian Federation in 2022 is analyzed, the practice of transferring business to Russian partners and its positive impact on the situation on the labor market is considered. The conclusion is made about the need for further state support of enterprises to prevent high unemployment.
