Using GIS technologies for analysis of agricultural land use of the Republic of Mordovia

The article presents an overview of the commissioning of unused lands with the use of multispectral images of remote sensing data of the Earth. Data on agricultural land use are analyzed, and a characteristic of the state of sown areas of the Republic of Mordovia is compiled. The author analyzed data taken from the Geoanalytical Centre of the Republic of Mordovia, the Unified State Register of Real Estate, and the State Cadastral Valuation of Land Plots.
