Analysis of the system for evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects for the development of transport infrastructure at the stage of their initiation (on the example of infrastructure of inland waterways)

The relevance of the research topic is determined by the need to solve the accumulated problems in the development of inland waterway transport infrastructure through the implementation of investment projects with state participation in the conditions of limited federal budget opportunities and the need to rank projects implemented in various constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Consequently, the study analyzes the current system for assessing the impact of investment projects for the development of inland waterway transport infrastructure on the socio-economic indicators of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, on the basis of which proposals are made for adjusting the approved project evaluation methods. The purpose of the study is to assess the current procedure for assessing the impact of the implementation of investment projects for the development of inland waterway transport infrastructure at the expense of the federal budget on the socio-economic indicators of development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
