Content analysis of the Kurukan Fuga Charter with regard to public administration: political science aspect

The article deals with Kurukan Fuga Charter concerning the public administration in the Mali Empire in the 13th century. The author studies the Charter, which played a constitutional role of that time and included a number of laws regulating government system, citizen relations and behaviour. Most of the Charter articles are of a democratic nature, and reflect inherent correlation between traditional forms of people life and rationally formed legislative requirements.
