Analysis of metal contents in water bodies of the Staritsky district (Tver region, Russia)

Using the AES-ISP method, the gross and average contents of 18 metals (3 alkaline: Na, K, Li, 3 alkaline earth metals: Ca, Mg, Ba, and 12 metals and metalloids: Al, As, B, Mn, Pb, Fe, Sb, Sn, Cu, V, W, Bi) were determined in the samples of water collected in the Staritsa District. The content of metals in the waters of the Staritsa District and the city of Tver is compared. The indicators of gross concentrations in surface waters in the Staritsky District and the city of Tver do not exceed MPCs.
